Trish is the creative force and guiding presence behind these rejuvenating retreats. As Creative Director, she brings her artistic expertise as a published author of five encaustic books and her global teaching experience to craft immersive experiences that nourish the mind, body, and spirit. The DBA of H4 Retreats, EncausticRevelation, takes it name from the third of her books, created at EncaustiCamp 2015.

Trish offers a wealth of knowledge, grounded in her belief that encaustic's inclusive nature—both in its accessibility and its ability to marry with myriad materials—empowers everyone to reach their full potential. Through the intentionally supportive environment she designs, you'll reconnect with your authentic self and leave feeling refreshed and inspired.

Brenda Tassava Medina

Business Director

Brenda is the strategic visionary and serial entrepreneur who has partnered with Trish to build H4 Retreats with sustainability in mind. As Business Director, she brings her business expertise as a publisher, event facilitator, public speaker, and business consultant together with her love for all things encaustic to build a strong infrastructure and strategy for EncausticRevelation.

Daniel Robert Seggebruch

Horticulture and Property Steward

Daniel Robert Seggebruch enhances the retreat experience through his expertise as the Horticulture and Property Steward. A certified organic farmer with a decade of experience in cultivating small-scale vegetable and flower farms, Daniel brings a deep connection to the land and a passion for creating nurturing environments. His skills also encompass the practical aspects of property stewardship, ensuring the comfort, warmth, and functionality of our retreat spaces.

Daniel is the force spearheading the development of the EncaustiCastleHone retreat facilities and urban farm, slated to open in 2028.
